Abstract

Forty-five patients who had shoulder impingement syndrome were treated surgically. Thirty of the patients were operated with classic Neer acromioplasty and fifteen were with modified Neer acromioplasty. The short-term follow-up results displayed no difference in terms of shoulder pain and function between the two groups.
