Abstract

Synovial hemangioma is an extremely rare benign soft tissue tumour which can occur within the joint space or along the tendons that's lined by synovium. Knee joint is the most common location, and the presenting symptoms are pain and/or effusion. CT, MRI, angiography, and artroscopy are used in diagnose. Total excision is curative. Synovial hemangioma shoud be in mind as a rare cause of cronic knee pain and effusion in children and adolescant.
