Preventive Antibiotic Usage in Orthopaedic Surgery

The use and duration of preventive antibiotic therapy in orthopaedic surgery still remains controversial. The results of two types of preventive antibiotic therapy used in 280 patients operated in our clinic were evaluated and presented. In the first group of 155 patients, Cephazolin and Gentamycin and in the second group of 125 patients, Cephotaxim was used.
