Arthroscopic Laser Surgery - Comparison of Holmium:YAG Pulsed and Neodymium:YAG Contact Laser

Abstract
The pathologies in knee, shoulder and ankle joints of 123 patients were treated with arthroscopic surgery using either Neodymium: YAG contact laser or Holmium: YAG pulsed laser. Ho: YAG pulsed laser was more effective and had less side effects, therefore it was concluded that Ho: YAG pulsed laser was superior.
